The initial Nxtgen Care Pilot was so successful for Ridgewood Assisted Living, that signing a long-term agreement was an easy decision.

 

Ridgewood Assisted Living, a 55 resident seniors care facility located in Nova Scotia, Canada opened for business in 2008. After the initial few years, new owners took over the facility in 2012.

The new owners set out to enhance the overall quality of the resident experience by creating and implementing a Culture Document outlying their fundamental beliefs and practices in resident care. With this backdrop, Ridgewood became an early adopter by piloting Nxtgen Care (formerly Checkin Tech) to further improve their residents’ well-being and in doing so improve operational efficiencies.

Before long, the Nxtgen Care Platform was proving its value in spades, delivering a range of benefits for management, staff, residents and residents’ families.
